Our client, a leading organization in data management and enterprise solutions, is seeking a Axway Middleware Engineer to join their team. As a Axway Middleware Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations supporting the Data Center Migration team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Axway Middleware Engineer
Location: Fortmill, South Carolina
What's the Job?- Design, implement, and support Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions during critical data center migration projects.
- Configure and manage daily operations for MFT systems, troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless data transfer.
- Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and communicate directly with partners to understand their needs.
- Install software, perform regular patch updates, and maintain system security and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and optimal system performance.
- Proven experience with Axway Secure Transport or similar MFT solutions.
- Proficiency in Linux system and application administration.
- Familiarity with data transfer protocols such as SFTP, HTTPS, S3, and SharePoint.
- Experience working with databases like Oracle and shell scripting skills.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform is a plus.
