- Analyze execution plans and implement Query Store recommendations.
- Manage indexes, statistics, and partitioning strategies.
- Perform blocking analysis and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Administer Always On Availability Groups and Replication.
- Manage SQL Agent and SSIS jobs.
- Apply SQL Server patches, Cumulative Updates, and Service Packs.
- Monitor CPU, memory, disk utilization, and TempDB performance.
- Manage database security, user roles, and permissions.
- Work closely with application development teams to resolve database-related issues.
- Ensure database capacity planning and storage management.
- 6+ years of Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience (estimated based on the technologies listed)
- Strong troubleshooting and database performance tuning skills
- Experience supporting production-critical SQL Server environments
- Knowledge of SQL Server High Availability (Always On AG)
- Strong understanding of indexing, execution plans, Query Store, and T-SQL optimization
- Experience collaborating with application development teams
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools such as Solar Winds DPA and Dynatrace is an advantage.
