Azure DevOps Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Dev Ops Engineer to join its Technology Infrastructure Operations team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting cloud transformation initiatives, advancing Dev Ops best practices, and helping lead the organization's migration from Mule Soft to Azure API Management (APIM).

This position will partner closely with infrastructure, development, and business teams to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud solutions while ensuring the reliability and performance of customer-facing applications and enterprise platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on Azure Dev Ops professional who enjoys owning the entire solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operational support.

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
• Support the migration of APIs from Mule Soft to Azure API Management (APIM).
• Build, deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-based applications and services within Azure.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and deployment processes.
• Implement infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for cloud and application environments.
• Support customer‑facing digital platforms, eCommerce applications, and enterprise integrations.
• Participate in cross‑training initiatives and help drive Dev Ops standardization across teams.
• Participate in scheduled after‑hours deployments and production support activities as needed.

• Experience migrating APIs from Mule Soft to Azure.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as:
  • Terraform
  • Bicep
  • ARM Templates
  • Azure CLI
• Experience supporting high-availability, customer‑facing applications.
• Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with Azure Function Apps.
• Previous experience in large enterprise or managed services environments.
• Salesforce deployment experience.
• Copado experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Mill, SC.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Fort Mill,SC.
