As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst I, you will support the Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) process for indirect purchases under $200,000. This role combines operational procurement execution, stakeholder engagement, supplier negotiation, and continuous improvement activities to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with company requirements.
Success in this role requires much more than processing transactions. You will review procurement requests for completeness and compliance, work with business partners to obtain required information and approvals, engage suppliers to identify savings opportunities, support contract reviews, and help mitigate commercial and operational risks. You'll regularly partner with suppliers, Legal, Finance, and internal customers to resolve issues, influence decisions, and drive timely procurement outcomes.

Position offers a starting salary range of $65,000 - 83,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

- Review and manage processing Purchase Requisition s (PRs) to Purchase Order (PO) while ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approval requirements.
- Review procurement requests and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, appropriate business justification, competitive pricing, and risk mitigation.
- Partner with internal customers to understand business requirements, provide procurement guidance, and deliver timely purchasing solutions.
- Effectively communicate procurement requirements and influence stakeholders to support compliant purchasing practices and sourcing opportunities.
- Manage multiple requests and competing priorities while maintaining responsiveness, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction.
- Engage suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
- Analyze supplier proposals, historical purchases, and market information to support sound business decisions and purchasing strategies.
- Identify opportunities to bundle purchases, leverage existing agreements, improve efficiency, and reduce overall costs.
- Support contract development and review activities by coordinating with suppliers, Legal, and business stakeholders to achieve acceptable commercial outcomes.
- Establish and maintain effective supplier relationships to support quality, service, responsiveness, and competitive pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance, market conditions, and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Leverage digital tools, AI-enabled technologies, and data insights to improve productivity, decision making, procurement outcomes, and customer experience.
- Leverage procurement systems, data analytics, AI-enabled tools, and emerging technologies to improve procurement effectiveness, streamline workflows, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Identify and escalate contractual, financial, operational, and supplier-related risks while supporting appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Participate in commodity-related initiatives, team projects, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance procurement performance and business outcomes.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture while supporting team objectives and organizational success.
