Apprentice - Tool & Die - FM

Position: Apprentice - Tool & Die - FM1

Key Responsibilities

* Complete 7,000 hours between the College Program and on-the-job training (OJT) in our manufacturing facilities

* Assembles tool sets for production

* Breaks down and cleans tooling after production

* Inspects tooling for damage or wear after production

* Makes major repairs to tooling

* Completes minor tool optimization projects

* Maintain complete and accurate records on tooling as required

* Maintain a clean and safe work area

* Follows all safety rules and practices

* Follows all quality procedures

* Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices including 5-S standards

* Successfully complete, to the Company's specification, courses of study required for the Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology

Your Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED

* Successful completion of the Compass Placement Test (required for school admission)

* Ability to move or lift 35 pounds

* Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
