Material Handlers

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is hiring GREAT people for IMMEDIATE Material Handler (Sit down Forklifts, Stand Up Reach Trucks, Pickers, Pallet Jacks, Etc) Positions for our client located in York, SC

This position offers competitive starting pay $17.00 per hour (OT is available!)

• Adhere to all inventory control procedures/guidelines.
• Review and adhere to safety policies and procedures including proper lifting, driving, handling and storage procedures.
• Adhering to all work instructions and inventory control responsibilities as needed.
• Must be able to maintain forklifts by performing maintenance check list responsibilities.
• Charge lifts and fuel gas operated trucks by following work instructions.
• Read orders and/ or schedules to ensure proper material is being moved and/ or delivered
• Use computer to find and/ or transact material in the system
• Ensure identifying tags or labels are on all material being moved
• Ensure material is being store in proper storage locations
• Ensure all material handling operations are done in a timely manner to ensure no loss of time and maximum efficiency at workstations.
• Remove all packaging before presenting to designated locations
• Always maintain excellent housekeeping

• Be respectful and a strong team player.
• Be able to work independently, as needed.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 25-45lbs.
• Be able to work overtime as required.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 6 months experience
• All new hires must take the Work Keys assessments for the profiled Material Handler classification.
