Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
- 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a South Carolina license or compact license (required after submission).
- This role will require floating to multiple units.
- Local & travel allowed. Candidates living miles from facility will be processed as local.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- No current placement allowed at Program:
Tenet Healthcare - (Direct) Program.

Would you enjoy making a difference across multiple communities while stepping in where care is needed most? We're looking for a Hospice RN
- Regional Support to join our team. In this dynamic role, you'll provide direct care to patients and support to families, while also serving as a floating clinician temporarily assigned to different hospice branches based on census needs or staffing gaps.
As a Hospice RN
- Regional Support, You Will:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients
- Manage and implement individualized plans of care
- Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.)
- Assess and address patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs
- Accurately document all care provided and ensure compliance with hospice protocols
- Educate families and caregivers on care instructions, medications, and safety
- Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team
- Assist with referrals, regulatory documentation, and payer compliance
- Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs
Schedule & Travel:
- Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities
- Travel is required and may include:
Overnight travel within 100-mile radius, frequent overnight travel to multiple states, or regional travel with overnight stays based on assignment needs.
A company fleet car is provided for eligible employees.
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (hospice, home health, acute care, long-term care, oncology or other high acuity setting)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience:
- Hospice and end-of-life nursing experience
- Skilled in clinical assessments and compassionate communication
- Strong critical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in varied environments with shifting needs
- Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
- Calm and supportive in crisis situations; skilled at family engagement
