Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Supervisor

• Oversee the safe operation of the Med Surg department, ensuring quality patient care, staffing, and fiscal responsibility.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement, supervise, and evaluate clinical practices, promoting a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain clinical and professional competency tailored to diverse patient populations.
• Respond flexibly to emergencies and staffing changes, delegating tasks effectively.
• Prioritize daily duties, adjust assignments as needed, and support staff development through ongoing education.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives by monitoring and reporting on patient care metrics.
• Delegate shift responsibilities such as chart checks, documentation, and supply management.

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Valid Multi-State RN License; if from a non-compact state, obtain within 30 days.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
• CPI certification, with other certifications as needed during orientation.
• Preferred: 2-3 years of acute care experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
