Role: The position involves serving as the on-site administrative representative for a hospital, managing and coordinating Patient Care Services during assigned shifts to align with organizational policies and objectives.
Responsibilities include: Acting as a clinical and management resource, overseeing patient throughput, assessing bed availability, assigning rooms, and communicating with multidisciplinary departments. Ensuring effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors, responding to emergencies, and coordinating efforts to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
Additionally, the role involves evaluating patient care quality through rounds and observations, participating in managerial decisions, serving on committees, and assisting in division goal and budget development.
Qualifications: An associate degree or diploma in nursing, with three years of professional nursing experience (two years preferred in supervisory roles within acute care). Valid multi-state RN license, BLS CPR certification (within 7 days), and ACLS and CPI certifications within orientation. A bachelor's degree in nursing and supervisory experience are preferred.
