Pineville Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) RN to join our clinical leadership team. We are proud to be AGENCY FREE

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the daily operations of the nursing department while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. You will play an important role in staff development, quality improvement, survey readiness, and supporting a culture of accountability, compassion, and teamwork.

- Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing department operations
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop nursing staff
- Coordinate and facilitate staff education and required in-service training
- Ensure nursing staff maintain current licenses, certifications, and required competencies
- Support the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, including MDS completion, care planning, and regulatory timelines
- Monitor assessments and documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident outcomes
- Serve as acting Director of Nursing as needed
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) facility required
- Nursing leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey readiness, and nursing operations
- Experience with MDS, RAI processes, care planning, and quality improvement preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to mentor, develop, and support nursing staff
