Quality Technician - CMM​/Guages

• Conduct quality checks and inspections on products and manufacturing machines according to checklists or inspection plans provided.
• Take decisions on the release or block of suspect or defective parts or products.
• Contribute to technical optimization of quality aspects in production or assembly processes assigned.
• Handle complaints and related cost and initiate corrective actions in cooperation with local operational quality management.
• Support the preparation and conduction process of internal and external audits.
• Document inspection and audit results and findings in the respective IT systems.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.
• Advanced computer knowledge and MS office skills.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and calculations preferred.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Preferred:

• College or University degree in a technical discipline a plus.
• Multiple years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with IT and/or SAP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
