Construction Materials Testing Technician Key Responsibilities
- Perform field testing of construction materials including soil, concrete, and asphalt in accordance with industry standards and project requirements
- Inspect materials on-site and accurately document results through detailed daily reports
- Operate testing equipment and follow established procedures to ensure reliable data collection
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to support testing and inspection activities
- Work in a physically active environment, including lifting, climbing, bending, and navigating uneven terrain
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction materials testing or related construction field
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction drawings and site plans
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to job sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- NCDOT certifications
- ACI Field Technician Level I
- Nuclear Gauge User Certification
- NICET Level I (Soils, Concrete, or Asphalt)
- Previous field experience in construction or engineering
- Competitive pay

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Mill, SC.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $53,000.00 - $75,000.00/yr.
