Key Responsibilities
* Gain technical proficiency in the application of Schaeffler's bearing portfolio and utilize application engineering services for new and existing customer needs.
* Enhance the digitization ratio of customer quotes and orders by effectively leveraging Schaeffler's digital sales tools, including Salesforce, Planning
360, Data Lab, Guided Quoting, SAP, and interchange.
* Develop and implement pricing strategies that drive sales growth while maximizing profit margins.
* Continuously assess and update the market potential and competitive landscape within assigned accounts to identify growth opportunities.
* Build in-depth understanding of customers' businesses, linking their success to the effective use of Schaeffler products.
* Establish and expand strong, trusted relationships within the customer network to support retention and growth.
* Maintain existing business through demonstrated commercial sales expertise, problem-solving skills, and timely, professional customer service.
* Drive new business development by aligning customer decision factors with Schaeffler's capabilities and presenting tailored value propositions.
* Regularly utilize sales and CRM systems () for reporting (open orders, forecasts, quotes) and keep internal management informed with presentations and updates.
* Actively participate in industry seminars, trade shows, and networking events to enhance industry knowledge and business opportunities.
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience
* Proven ability to influence decision-making and resolve conflicts effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
* Strong business acumen with a results-driven mindset
* Proficient in CRM software and systems, with Salesforce experience considered a plus
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrates intrinsic motivation for results, strong relationship-building capabilities, leadership-level influence, high ethical standards, and agility within complex organizational environments
* External applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment visa or other sponsorship
