The Python Developer will support the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of an AWS-hosted web application, working across both Python backend services and React front-end components. This role collaborates closely with data modelers, analysts, and business stakeholders across multiple product teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong object-oriented programming skills, modern web development experience, and a commitment to clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain web applications using Python and React
- Ensure adherence to enterprise data standards, policies, and procedures
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Debug and resolve application issues to improve stability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team standards and best practices
- Adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and frameworks
- Engage in continuous learning to stay current with industry trends
- Document data ownership and establish integrations with enterprise data repositories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, data modelers, and business users
Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)
- 5+ years of experience in an enterprise development environment
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with Python libraries such as pandas, Num Py, datetime, and regex
- 2+ years of front-end development experience using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- 1+ year of experience with SQL Server, including writing basic queries and stored procedures
- Experience with version control systems such as Git (Bitbucket, Git Lab)
- Proficiency with documentation tools (Confluence) and issue tracking tools (Jira)
- Experience using testing frameworks such as Unit Test, Pytest, and Jest Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
- Experience with Databricks, ADF, AWS Glue, ETL/ELT pipelines
- Exposure to data engineering or data integration workflows
