Job Overview As a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, delivery, and support of modern, cloud‑native platforms that enable LPL’s business and client experiences. This role involves hands‑on engineering across the full development lifecycle, with opportunities to apply AI‑assisted development tools to build secure, scalable, and well‑architected solutions.

You will collaborate with partners across Product, Design, Platform, and Operations, contributing to systems that align with LPL’s software development lifecycle (SDLC) and risk management practices.

Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and support full‑stack applications using .NET/C#, Angular, and AWS services.

Build and maintain cloud‑native, containerized services and service‑oriented APIs.Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to shared standards and implementation practices aligned with LPL SDLC and risk management processes.

Partner with Product, Design, Platform, and Operations teams to deliver integrated, reliable solutions.

Identify opportunities to improve applications, development processes, and platform capabilities; contribute to technical documentation and roadmaps.

Design and implement REST and gRPC services using ASP.NET Core, applying clean architecture and domain‑driven design concepts.

Apply resiliency and security patterns such as retry logic, circuit breakers, idempotency, and least‑privilege access.

Develop responsive and accessible Angular (v16+) user interfaces, including micro‑frontend architectures, using RxJS and modern UI patterns.

Use AI‑assisted development tools (such as Git Hub Copilot, Copilot Chat, Cursor, or Code Whisperer) to support coding, testing, refactoring, documentation, and reviews.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated quality and security checks.

Required Qualifications Experience building full‑stack applications using .NET/C#, Angular, Type Script/JavaScript, and relational or No

SQL databases.

Experience designing and supporting distributed or service‑oriented systems.

Experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS (such as EKS, RDS or Aurora, S3, Event Bridge, Athena, or Glue).Experience building ETL processes or data pipelines using structured and unstructured data sources.

Experience working across the software development lifecycle, from design through production support.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to reporting or data processing tools; experience with Python (including PySpark or Num Py) is helpful.

Experience with observability, feature‑flagging, and production support in regulated environments.
