Job Overview:

LPL Financial is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver modern web applications and services that support advisor self-service experiences. This role will  Core, AWS, Angular, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native technologies to build scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with architecture, product, data, Dev Ops, and quality assurance teams to modernize platforms and deliver business value through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions aligned with business requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services and best practices.
  • Partner with architecture, product, data, and business stakeholders to support platform modernization initiatives.
  • Own end-to-end solution design, implementation, code quality, and sprint execution activities.
  • Collaborate with peer engineering teams and support organizations to ensure successful production deployments.
  • Work closely with quality assurance and Dev Ops teams to ensure compliance with SDLC and release management processes.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, architectural standards, and cloud modernization principles throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve platform performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and integrate applications using C#,.NET, AWS, and service-based architectures.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and service-oriented backend solutions.
  • Communicate technical solutions, project status, and risks effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  • Design applications with a focus on resiliency, scalability, and performance.
  • Create prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions using development tools such as Visual Studio.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience designing and implementing complex systems using  technology stack and web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience , C#, JavaScript, CSS3, Angular, JSON, REST services, SQL Server, and Node.js development.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, indexes, and performance tuning.
  • Experience developing and maintaining unit tests.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in software engineering environments.

Pay Range:

$ - $ Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
