The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping parts in support of customer work orders and technician replenishment. This role also communicates with technicians and internal teams to help ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of service and maintenance requests.
What You’ll Do- Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments (verify part number, quantity, and condition)
- Pick, pack, label, and ship parts for work orders and technician replenishment
- Accurately complete system transactions (receipts, transfers, shipments) and document discrepancies
- Support returns (RMA), core returns, and warranty shipments
- Assign stock locations, perform put-away, and maintain proper bin/zone organization
- Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and resolve variances
- Communicate with technicians, supervisors, vendors, and internal customers on order status and needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse (5S) and follow safety procedures
- Operate material-handling equipment as trained
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills for counting and verification
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and company systems)
- Dependable, accountable, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Fed Ex and/or UPS shipping systems
- Frequent walking, bending, and standing
- Sitting and typing on a laptop/computer
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work performed primarily indoors in a warehouse/open office environment
- Ability to understand and follow simple and complex oral and written instructions
- Ability to read work orders, schedules, and specifications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple detailed tasks simultaneously with accuracy
