Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our interdisciplinary therapy team. In this role, you will provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and/or adults with developmental and behavioral needs, helping them build meaningful skills that increase independence and quality of life.
You’ll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborate with therapists across disciplines to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
Job Responsibilities:Direct Client Services
Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs as outlined in each client’s Behavior Support Plan.
Respond to and intervene in challenging behaviors using trained and approved strategies.
Provide crisis intervention as needed while maintaining safety.
Engage clients in play, pairing, and age-appropriate, independence-building activities.
Create a safe, fun, and welcoming treatment environment.
Prepare session materials and treatment spaces in advance.
Sanitize and reset therapy spaces after sessions.
Accurately collect and record behavioral and skill acquisition data.
Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA regarding progress, concerns, and training needs.
Maintain professional communication with caregivers, teachers, and stakeholders.
Administrative & Team ResponsibilitiesParticipate actively on each client’s treatment team.
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary therapy department.
Complete treatment notes, data sheets, and incident reports in a timely manner.
Enter all session data electronically by the end of each workday.
Attend supervision meetings, staff meetings, and required trainings.
Use non-billable time productively (material creation, team support, etc.).
Required
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass criminal background and abuse registry checks.
First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention certification (or willingness to obtain).
RBT certification or willingness to obtain
, including:
40-hour ABA training
Competency assessment
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
