• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
• Associate's Degree required, BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years ED experience preferred.

Valley View Medical Center is a 102,000-square-foot acute-care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings offering exceptional care to community. We have 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an 8-bed labor, delivery and post-partum unit, 16 Bed Emergency Department. Valley View Medical Center is the only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
