Wound Care Nurse (RN)
Join our team as a Wound Care Nurse (RN) at Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health. You will serve in a collaborative, family‑oriented small hospital setting, helping patients with wound care and other nursing responsibilities.
Job DetailsFull‑time position, Monday‑Friday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. The role offers self‑scheduling flexibility.
Responsibilities- Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care and monitor patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current state RN license.
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certificate required within 30 days of hire.
- BCLS required.
- ACLS, PALS, and Hand‑with‑Care certifications preferred.
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
