Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:30am−5pm (no weekends, after hours, or on call) – commitment and retention bonus available to well‑qualified applicants.
You’ll join a small hospital setting where collaboration, respect, and a true family feel are part of everyday work. With self‑scheduling, you’ll have added flexibility while partnering with a department that values ideas, development, and shared ownership of outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care and monitor patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Current state RN license and Associate’s Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
- One year of experience preferred.
Valley View Medical Center – a 102,000‑square‑foot acute‑care facility with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an 8‑bed labor, delivery, and post‑partum unit, plus a 16‑bed emergency department.
