About the RoleRegistered Nurse (RN) – Medical‑Surgical. Join our M/S Registered Nurse in a smaller hospital setting, focusing on exceptional patient care.
Our TeamMedical‑Surgical team in a smaller hospital. Self‑scheduling provides added flexibility while partnering with a department that values ideas, development, and shared ownership of outcomes.
Responsibilities- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Current state RN license and an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- BCLS required.
- ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
- One year of experience preferred.
Valley View Medical Center – 102,000‑square‑foot acute‑care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings offering exceptional care to the community. We have 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an 8‑bed labor, delivery and post‑partum unit, 16‑bed Emergency Department, and Valley View Medical Center is the only all‑private‑bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
