American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring NRP, STABLE, AWHONN, and ACLS certifications along with a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

• Work in the OB/Gyn Combined unit of a hospital's Labor, Delivery, and Post-Partum department
• 9-bed unit caring for laboring, post-partum, and neonatal patients
• Patient ratios vary based on patient acuity
• Common diagnoses include term and late preterm indications such as gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes
• Uses IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, fetal doppler, and syringe pumps
• EHR system is Med Host with Centricity experience preferred
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend (Friday/Saturday nights)
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
• Required certifications: NRP, STABLE, AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced), and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Experience with labor, postpartum, well baby care, and stabilization of critical newborns for transfer required
• LDRP experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, and post-partum stages, including stabilization of critical newborns for transfer
• Work within a Level 1 trauma facility featuring a Well Baby Center
• Team player with a flexible schedule is preferred for this role
• Black scrubs required as part of the dress code
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on this assignment
