Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Week of orientation:
Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are completed remotely.
Unit L&D/PP/MB - SEH.
# L&D Beds 4 LDRP.
# OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections? 1.
# Triage beds 2.
# Postpartum beds 3.
# Births per day? Month? Year? 0-2 per day, about 200 per year.
Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? As much as possible for a rural hospital.
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) ALS, NRP, AWHONN EFM.
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 1 year of L&D experience and be trained in LDRP.
Must be able to triage and function as the baby catcher/transition nurse.
Candidates do not need to be able to circulate C-sections or manage post op GYN patients.
Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes.
EFM System OBIX.
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 6p-6a, some self scheduling but may be moved for unit needs.
Weekend Requirements Half of all weekends (F,S,S).
Holiday Requirements Yes, half of winter holidays.
