McGregor Baptist Church seeks an accounting professional to work in the Accounting Department. The candidate will be trained to process the full cycle of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contributions, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and account reconciliations using computerized church software. The role includes preparing deposits and making trips to the bank throughout the week. The preferred work schedule is full‑time 40 hours a week, Monday‑Friday, 8am–5pm.
Qualifications- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
- Basic calculator use.
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to handle confidentiality in a Christ‑like environment.
- Reliable transportation to travel to the bank.
- High school education.
