Staff Accountant

A growing and established manufacturing organization in Southwest Florida is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain financial records and supporting documentation
• Prepare financial reports and schedules
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Analyze general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Support internal and external audits
  
  Assist with business insurance administration and reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Experience working within an ERP system is required
• Experience with batch accounting processes is required
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
