Step into a pivotal role managing full-cycle accounting across our dynamic group of construction and manufacturing companies. You will work directly with ownership to ensure accurate job costing, clean books, and reliable financial reporting. • You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities, expertly handling inter-company transactions and allocations.
• You will maintain Quick Books Online to ensure accurate general ledger coding and precise project job costing.
• You will process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and AIA-style progress billings for our active construction projects.
• You will track and reconcile all retainage, subcontractor compliance documents, and lien releases.
• You will analyze job profitability and prepare essential work-in-progress (WIP) reporting for leadership review.
• You will manage bank and credit card reconciliations across all related companies within the overarching group.
• You will prepare monthly financial statements and collaborate seamlessly with outside CPAs for year-end tax preparations.

• Minimum of 5 years of proven bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Direct, hands‑on experience working within the construction industry.
• Strong technical proficiency in utilizing Quick Books Online.
• Solid understanding of job costing, WIP, AIA billing, retainage, and lien waivers.
• Demonstrated experience managing inter-company transactions and multi-entity accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel paired with excellent organizational and detail‑oriented skills.
• A high level of discretion and confidentiality for handling sensitive financial data.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Specific experience managing multiple companies simultaneously within Quick Books Online.
