Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Auditor to join our growing assurance team. This position is responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and completion of audit and assurance engagements for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform audit and assurance procedures in accordance with firm standards and professional requirements.
- Work closely with staff and management to identify, evaluate, and resolve audit issues throughout engagements.
- Prepare and maintain clear, accurate, and well-organized work papers.
- Draft financial statements and related disclosures.
- Communicate effectively with clients and engagement team members throughout the audit process.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Contribute to the firm's commitment to delivering high-quality client service and professional excellence.
Qualifications – Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Basic familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications – Preferred
- Previous public accounting or audit experience.
- Knowledge of nonprofit and governmental accounting.
- CPA eligibility or progress toward certification is a plus.
