A leading healthcare organisation is seeking a Business Manager to oversee administrative operations and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy healthcare office. This role is ideal for an experienced operations or office management professional with a background in healthcare or administration who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and supporting business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative support and non-clinical operations to ensure efficient day-to-day business functions.
- Manage employee contracts, HR documentation, credentialing records, and compliance files in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Review, reconcile, and submit invoices while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely payments.
- Conduct and manage billing audits, resolving discrepancies and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Lead and support administrative staff, ensuring clerical workflows are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Assist with recruitment, performance management, disciplinary processes, and employee offboarding.
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership and contribute to the overall operational effectiveness of the office.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in either:
- Office administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience with payroll administration.
- Knowledge of supply management and purchasing processes.
- Basic financial and budgeting knowledge.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with administrative or support teams.
- Strong process improvement and operational management skills.
