Experienced Automotive Service Advisor
We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Service Advisor for our Ford Service Department at Sam Galloway Ford‑Lincoln. If you are a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and can demonstrate service results, join our team.
About Sam Galloway Ford‑LincolnSam Galloway Ford Lincoln is a fourth‑generation family‑owned dealership that has been doing business in Lee County since 1927. We support several different charitable organizations throughout Southwest Florida. Among them are the American Cancer Society, the preservation of the Edison‑Ford Winter Estates and the Community Cooperative Ministries (The Soup Kitchen), to name a few.
Job Responsibilities- Meet and greet customers promptly; obtain customer and vehicle information and all customer concerns and vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
- Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history.
- Review Multi‑Point Inspection and accurately translate the technician’s recommendations.
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for parts and labor.
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day.
- Update customers on the status of their vehicles on a daily basis.
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
- Perform active delivery, explain the Multi‑Point Inspection and all completed work and charges to the customer.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships and loyalty with customers to encourage repeat and referral business, allowing for long‑term clientele.
- Service Advisor experience.
- Proven track record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
- High degree of personal ownership and accountability.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
- Team player.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience is a plus.
- Consistent and stable work history.
- Valid in‑state driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Pre‑employment background check and drug‑screen required prior to hiring.
