• Maintain organized, accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Communicate with vendors on pricing, availability, lead times, and shipping schedules
• Track deliveries and resolve discrepancies, shortages, or delays proactively
• Collaborate with project managers to align purchasing with job timelines
• Support accurate job costing and financial reporting
• Build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams

• Experience in purchasing/procurement (construction or flooring preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple orders and deadlines
• Working knowledge of invoicing, payment terms, and material cost tracking
• Proficiency in ERP/purchasing systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and a team‑focused mindset
• Flooring industry experience
• Experience with commercial or multi‑site project purchasing
• Knowledge of job costing or construction accounting
• Ability to negotiate pricing and freight terms
