Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 a year plus commission

We provide expert septic system design and soil analysis services for residential and commercial new construction projects. We are known for our technical precision, reliability, and customer service, we support a wide range of builders, contractors, and property owners in meeting regulatory and environmental standards.
Position SummaryThis is not a desk sales role.
Land Perc is looking for someone who can own and build relationships, generate repeat work, and build a predictable sales pipeline in a technical, regulated environment.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead initiatives that drive client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building strong, quality client partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and executing strategic marketing efforts. This position works closely with external marketing partners and internal leadership to align messaging, brand strategy, and business development goals.
WhatYou Will Own
- Monthly new builder / contractor acquisition
- Repeat business from existing builders
- CRM accuracy and sales forecasting
- Revenue growth targets (quarterly & annual)
- Client Relationship Management Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed.
- Marketing Oversight Collaborate with external marketing partners to coordinate campaigns, lead generation, brand awareness, and digital presence.
- Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and effectively communicated across channels.
- Track ROI of marketing initiatives and report on performance metrics.
- Collaboration & Leadership Act as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic planning.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support the successful execution of sales and marketing programs.
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years in B2B sales serving construction, trades, or regulated services
- Proven experience selling non-commodity services
- Experience managing long sales cycles and repeat accounts
- Comfortable working with technical teams (engineering, operations, permitting)
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management and achieving/exceeding revenue goals.
- Experience working with or managing external marketing firms or consultants.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized.
- Industry experience is a must.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms.
