Summer Camp Counselor

Bonita Springs YMCA, located at 27200 Kent Rd, Bonita Springs, Florida, serves as a community hub providing various programming and services to individuals and families. We are seeking a passionate and responsible Summer Camp Counselor for an on‑site, part‑time role in the Bonita Springs YMCA. The Camp Counselor will be actively involved in coordinating and leading activities, supervising children to ensure their safety, promoting teamwork and inclusivity and fostering a positive camp experience. You will serve as a mentor and role model for campers, ensuring they have a fun, enriching and safe environment creating every lasting memories!

• Experience in working with youth in camp settings or similar environments preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents and Y members
• Provide a positive, memorable membership experience
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain a positive demeanor
• CPR and First Aid certifications provided
• Ability to be active and participate in outdoor activities for extended periods
