OverviewOur client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support a luxury residential construction project in Fort Myers. This is a high-visibility role ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated professional looking to grow into a Project Manager position while gaining exposure to both field and office operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the PM and field team with submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and procurement tracking
- Maintain and track logs (submittals, RFIs, change orders, permits, inspections, closeout items)
- Assist with buyout processes, scope comparisons, and subcontract documentation
- Coordinate with accounting, subcontractors, and internal teams on contracts and pay applications
- Support punch list completion, closeout documentation, O&M manuals, and turnover readiness
- Experience as a Project Engineer, APM, or Project Coordinator with a GC or CM firm
- Exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial construction projects
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills across multiple project workflows
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
