Envelope & MEP SuperintendentOur client is seeking a Envelope & MEP Superintendent to manage critical building systems and exterior scope coordination on a Fort Myers hospitality adaptive‑reuse / refurbishment assignment. This role requires strong technical field leadership across envelope, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, inspections, commissioning, sequencing, and system tie‑ins.
What this role will own- Lead field coordination for envelope and MEP scopes, including sequencing, access, inspections, and trade handoffs.
- Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, façade, waterproofing, roofing, glazing, and related scope interfaces.
- Coordinate system tie‑ins, shutdowns, testing, commissioning, punch work, and turnover requirements.
- Work closely with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and project leadership to resolve technical conflicts.
- Track long‑lead equipment, rough‑in progress, above‑ceiling coordination, inspections, and closeout documentation.
- Superintendent experience focused on MEP, envelope, or technically complex commercial renovation work.
- Strong understanding of coordination between structure, envelope, interiors, and building systems.
- Experience with hospitality, hotel, adaptive‑reuse, occupied renovation, or phased retrofit work.
- Ability to identify field conflicts early and drive resolution before they become schedule or quality issues.
- Comfort managing inspections, commissioning, life‑safety systems, waterproofing details, and finish‑sensitive conditions.
Envelope and MEP execution will be one of the highest‑risk parts of the refurbishment. This role protects the project from system conflicts, water intrusion issues, inspection delays, commissioning problems, and costly rework.
