Civil Estimator

Full-time EHC, Inc. is a Southwest Florida-based heavy civil contractor specializing in earthwork, site development, road construction, and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our growing team.

• Explore documentation to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements
• Select, measure and track important metrics
• Visit sites, attend meetings and other venues necessary to do the estimate
• Perform complex analysis of collected data and metrics
• Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts
• Conduct complex risk analysis activities
• Create and present reports to upper management
• Analyze and evaluate vendor proposals
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors
• Put together competitive, responsible bids

• Minimum 3 years of experience estimating heavy civil or site development projects.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Experience performing earthwork takeoffs.
• Proficiency with Agtek or similar digitizing software preferred.
• Experience with Hard Dollar, HCSS Heavy Bid, Timberline, or comparable estimating software preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience will be considered.
• Training may be provided for the right candidate.
