- Plan, organize, and oversee all assigned construction activities by reviewing project plans, specifications, schedules, budgets, labor requirements, equipment needs, material procurement, and safety requirements with management before and throughout the duration of each project.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of field personnel, subcontractors, equipment operators, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and Company standards.
- Monitor project progress, inspect work quality, and identify potential issues or challenges; develop and implement solutions and communicate matters requiring management involvement in a timely manner.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with management, clients, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and resolution of field-related issues.
- Ensure all required project documentation, reports, production records, time‑keeping records, and other field‑generated information are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety by conducting and participating in safety meetings, training employees on safe work practices, equipment operation, construction methods, and Company policies, and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and Company requirements.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment, maintain regular and reliable attendance, perform all duties in a professional and workmanlike manner, and carry out other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Able to work in confined or enclosed spaces for moderate periods of time.
- Able to climb ladders and stairs throughout the day to inspect work at a height over 6 feet.
- Able to work more than 40 hours per week when required.
- Vision to read printed materials.
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over a radio or telephone.
- Able to work outside in all weather.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including MS‑Excel, Word, Office, and Project.
- Ability to prioritize, exercise sound independent judgment, and communicate with co‑workers.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and construction safety laws.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Associate’s degree in construction science/construction management, or equivalent work experience.
- OSHA 10 or 30‑hour certification a plus.
