As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Field Supervisor to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Supervisor (Grading & Site Work) to oversee and manage on-site operations for our grading and site work projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the industry, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site grading and site work activities.
• Lead and manage grading and site work crews, including subcontractors.
• Ensure work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of grading and sitework equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations & company policies.
• Ensure that all crew members are in proper attire, which includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), safety vests, and safety glasses as required. Long pants and hard-soled, closed-toe work boots should also be worn, while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain clear communication with the project management team and clients.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on project progress, crew hours, and equipment usage.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grading and site work, with strong knowledge of related processes and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, and moving on uneven terrain
• Ability to climb in and out of equipment, as needed
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, including varying weather and temperatures
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and hand tools when necessary
• Capacity to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves, for extended periods
• Ability to work in loud, dusty, and potentially hazardous environments
