The role is Assistant Project Manager for a Fort Myers luxury residential project. This role is ideal for an organized, technically curious builder who can support both the project office and the field while learning inside a premium product environment with strong visibility.
What this role will own:
- Support the PM and field team with submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, procurement tracking, and day-to-day project controls.
- Maintain logs for submittals, RFIs, changes, permits, inspections, closeout items, and long-lead commitments.
- Help assemble buyout materials, scope comparisons, subcontract exhibits, and cost documentation.
- Coordinate with accounting, subcontractors, and the project team on commitments, pay applications, and administrative follow-through.
- Support punch, closeout, O&M collection, warranty handoff, and turnover readiness.
What strong candidates bring:
- Solid experience in project engineering, APM, or project coordinator to work with a reputable GC or CM.
- Recent exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, condo, or commercial vertical construction.
- Strong organizational discipline and the ability to keep several work streams moving at once.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, and construction document-control workflows.
- Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred; bilingual English / Spanish is a plus.
