Quality Control Manager – Commercial Mechanical Construction

Location: Fort Myers, FL

Compensation: Up to $150,000 + Performance Bonuses + Employee Ownership + Company Vehicle

An established, employee-owned commercial mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality initiatives across multiple commercial construction projects throughout Southwest Florida.

What You'll Do
  • Lead regional quality control efforts across commercial mechanical construction projects.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents before work begins.
  • Perform field inspections to verify quality, workmanship, and code compliance.
  • Partner with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to improve installation quality.
  • Identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and verify successful completion.
  • Develop and improve quality control procedures, documentation, and reporting.
  • Help create and deliver training programs for field leadership.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and preconstruction planning.
  • Support commissioning activities and successful project turnover.
  • Drive continuous improvement across multiple projects and field teams.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience leading Quality Control or Quality Assurance on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, or mechanical construction
    .
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience coaching and developing superintendents, foremen, and field personnel.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Commercial mechanical contracting experience is highly preferred.
