Role Description

As a Customer Service Representative at Snead Eye Group, you will serve as a primary point of contact for patients, handling incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries about services, insurance, and billing. You will greet patients on-site, assist with check-in and check-out processes, update patient information in practice management systems, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience. The role includes resolving basic concerns, escalating complex issues to appropriate staff, and maintaining accurate records of patient interactions.

This is a full-time, on‑site role based in Fort Myers, FL, requiring consistent in-person collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient practice operations and positive patient experiences.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Customer Service and Customer Support to manage patient inquiries professionally.
  • Ability to enhance Customer Experience and Customer Satisfaction through empathetic communication and problem-solving.
  • Experience working as Customer Service Representatives or in similar front office or call center roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a courteous, patient‑focused demeanor.
  • Comfort using computers, phone systems, and practice management or scheduling software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced medical office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in healthcare or eye care settings is a plus.
  • Reliability in maintaining punctual attendance and collaborating effectively with diverse team members.
