Manager of Early Childhood Education

Responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight, and support of early childhood education programs and initiatives that support school readiness and high-quality early learning environments for the Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida (ELC). Work involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality early learning services, supporting School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten initiatives, and overseeing coaching and professional development, while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Works closely with a variety of external vendors, service providers, agencies, and public and community organizations to improve child outcomes and strengthen the early learning system.

Position typically supervises employees and schedules day-to-day work activities to provide optimum efficiency and productivity. Position requires the ability to apply a wide application of principles, theories, and concepts to the assigned function or business area.
