Take on a rewarding contract opportunity providing support within educational settings near Fort Myers, FL. In this full-time position (35 hours per week), you'll play a key role in helping students succeed by delivering psychological services across a school district environment. This assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and may include travel between multiple campus locations as part of an itinerant role.
Youll collaborate with educational teams, conduct assessments, write detailed reports, and participate in IEP meetings, supporting a range of age groups as assigned by the district. The district is seeking four qualified professionals with strong school-based experience.
Requirements & Qualifications- Active Florida Department of Health Psychology license
- Experience performing educational assessments
- Knowledge and prior experience with IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Previous work within a school-based setting is highly valued
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to a dynamic, multi-site schedule
- Perform psychological evaluations and assessments for students as needed
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and monitor IEPs
- Attend and contribute to school-based meetings
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and timely reports
- Serve diverse student populations and age groups
- Offer consultative support to teachers, staff, and families
