The ELLM Literacy Coach I utilizes the Early Literacy and Learning Model (ELLM) program to support early literacy and learning inat-risk preschool classrooms. Assists project-wide activities andworks in collaboration with partners and the ELLM Team. Support son-site implementation of project components including the ELLMprogram and other VPK curriculum. Implements early literacy coaching practices and application of current related research.

• Fulfills instructional or practice-based coaching role in preschool classrooms with a focus on early literacy.
• Assists with the implementation of project-wide activities working in collaboration with partners and the ELLM Team.
• Travels throughout Immokalee and Collier county and assists with on-site implementation of program components.
• Assists with all aspects of data collection.
• Assists with problem-solving and conflict resolution support related to overall operation of the programs.
• Provides instructional coaching to pre-kindergarten teachers to increase child literacy outcomes for children of low-income families.
• Provides model of ELLM norms and behaviors and offers support and resources to teachers to become proficient users of research-based instructional strategies and materials that are partof the ELLM Classroom Model.
• Spends assigned time in each designated classroom reviewing data, observing, reflecting and conferencing, and modeling with teachers.
• Ensures implementation of evidence-based activities that promote growth in oral language and vocabulary skills for English language learners.
• Helps develop trainings and material for Back to School andNap-time Trainings, both in-person and virtual.
• Assists teachers to implement the ELLM Family Model and tocreate a literacy-rich, interactive classroom environment.
• Assists ELLM teachers with using the assessment results to identify children's needs and plan instruction based on individualized instructional outcomes.
• Assists with the change process as it unfolds in ELLMclassrooms and helps to solve practice-based implementation problems as needed.
• Participates as a member of the ELLM Coaching Team and attends professional development trainings and coaching seminars.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

• This position requires either six years of directly related full-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Early Childhood Education,Literacy, or related field and two years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.
• Professional full-time teaching experience.
• Experience working with adult and children's learning styles,development and culture, or related areas.
• Valid driver's license.
• Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience,and/or certifications may be considered.

• Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Literacy, or related field.
• Five years teaching experience at the pre-kindergarten through primary level.
• Bi-Lingual skills.
• Training and experience using the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) assessment tool.
• Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) certified.

• Proven ability to think strategically and approach challenges with creativity.
