Controls Engineer - Industrial Automation (IL)
We have 2 Open Positions (1 senior, 1 junior).
Location:
Illinois.
Relocation assistance: up to $6,000.
Responsibilities- Perform complete systems engineering for industrial automation projects.
- Design and integrate the entire package from start to finish.
- Collaborate closely with junior controls and mechanical engineers.
- 2+ years experience with industrial automation systems, PLC, HMI, and servo drives (scratch programming required).
- 2+ years experience with electrical designs, SCADA, robotic control, and panel layout designs.
- 2+ years experience with FANUC, KUKA, or ABB robotic programming.
- Understanding of mechanical mechanisms, hydraulic circuit design, and pneumatic circuit designs.
- Experience with cradle-to-grave design.
- Knowledge of AB Powerflex & Kinetix drives, Studio 5000, Factory Talk.
- Knowledge of Guard Logix controllers, sensors, analog sensors, and PLCs.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Willing to travel less than 30% regionally.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Experience in assembly automation (automotive industry).
- Proficient with measurement tools such as dial calipers or micrometers.
- Project management experience.
- Experience working with vision systems.
