Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you will assist with a variety of land development projects, coordinating with clients, negotiating contracts, managing schedules and budgets, supervising CAD designers and permit technicians, conducting construction observations, and drafting technical reports.
Responsibilities- Project management assistance on various land development projects including client coordination, contract negotiation, schedule development and maintenance, and budget management.
- Supervise CAD designers, coordinating with other departments, professions, and agencies.
- Supervise permit technicians and administrative staff in completing and advancing permit applications.
- Conduct construction observations, prepare field observation reports, and witness critical construction tasks.
- Coordinate and communicate with construction managers, contractors, owners, construction inspectors, and permitting agencies.
- Write technical reports, letters, project summaries, and emails.
- Plan drafting experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
- BS in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in land development projects preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook required.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record; driving is an essential part of the position.
