CEI Assistant Project Administrator
AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Assistant Project Administrator to join our growing team and support a variety of transportation infrastructure projects located in the Fort Myers Fl, area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful work that helps shape the region's infrastructure while working alongside a collaborative and professional team.
Assist the Project Administrator with daily management and oversight of CEI projects.
Review construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, permits, and applicable standards
Monitor contractor performance, progress schedules, and work quality
Assist in coordinating inspectors, technicians, and support staff assigned to projects
Review and process contractor pay estimates, change orders, supplemental agreements, and contract modifications
Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, and construction documentation
Participate in project meetings with owners, contractors, utility companies, and regulatory agencies
Track project quantities and verify measurements for payment purposes
Assist with reviewing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications
Support resolution of construction issues and provide recommendations to project leadership
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and environmental regulations
Prepare project status reports and assist in communicating project updates to stakeholders
Support project closeout activities, including final documentation and acceptance procedures
Minimum requirements:
BA/BS degree plus 2 years of related experience, or AS Degree plus 4 years of related experience, or HS/GED plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Valid US Driver's License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. Due to the nature of the projects US citizenship is required.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in relevant transportation projects. FDOT Advanced MOT, may obtain with six (6) months after Project NTP if holding a current FDOT Intermediate MOT certificate. CTQP Final Estimates Level II
