Senior Electrical Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at EMPLOYER-DESC , you will be instrumental in leading our engineering projects through innovation and sustainability. This position requires an experienced individual who is adept at project management, design, and implementation of electrical systems across various sectors, ensuring technical excellence and high quality in accordance with applicable codes and client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and supervise all aspects of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
• Lead projects from concept through completion involving initial planning, conceptual design, construction, and commissioning
• Apply knowledge of industry standards and regulations to ensure safety and compliance in all engineering aspects
• Coordinate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project deadlines are met and within budget
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff to foster a collaborative team environment
• Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications

Required Skills

• Proficient in CAD software and MS Office
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant construction codes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and wiring
