TLC Engineering Solutions seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design for complex, high-performance buildings across healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, and government markets. In this client-focused, multidisciplinary environment, you will develop HVAC and plumbing systems, perform calculations and energy analyses, and produce coordinated construction documents using advanced BIM tools. You'll collaborate closely with MEP, structural, technology, and sustainability teams, mentor junior staff, support QA/QC, and help drive innovative, sustainable engineering solutions that positively impact communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for complex building projects in healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, and government sectors
- Develop and review HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems ensuring performance, sustainability, and code compliance
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary MEP, structural, technology, and energy teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Prepare calculations, specifications, and construction documents using advanced design and modeling tools
- Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and support their professional development
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify requirements and resolve design and field issues
- Perform energy and system performance analysis to support high-performance and sustainable design goals
- Participate in QA/QC reviews to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across project deliverables
- Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet scope, budget, and quality objectives
- Contribute to innovation initiatives, best practices, and continuous improvement in mechanical engineering processes
