Broadcast Engineer

A well-established television broadcasting company is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to support the technical systems that power live television operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with broadcast technology, and ensuring reliable on-air performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair broadcast equipment, computers, servers, and network system
• Support newsroom, production, and business users with hardware and software issue
• Ensure reliable operation of live and recorded broadcast
• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment installations, and system upgrade
• Respond to technical issues during breaking news and other critical broadcast
• Maintain accurate technical documentation

Qualification

• 2+ years of broadcast engineering or related technical experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Windows operating systems, servers, networking, and broadcast equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skill
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call suppory

Preferred

• Experience with RF transmitters and transmission system
• Knowledge of television production workflows and IP-based broadcast technologies
